Who should use GF2? GF2 is a wonderfully minimalist way to Retain your already healthy and youthful skin. Unfortunately, environmental factors eventually affect all skin. If you are at that point of your skin journey where you want to prevent premature ageing or the future impact of environmental stressors, then GF2 is an effective addition to your existing skincare routine.

It is also ideal if the current focus of your skin journey is to Rejuvenate skin already showing signs of environmental damage and ageing. Environmental factors like pollution, UV rays, the chemicals we use on our skin, lifestyle, and internal stressors all play a role in what is referred to as ‘inflammageing’ (inflammatory ageing). It’s a form of chronic inflammation that also accelerates the ageing process.

GF2 Skin Rejuvenation works on environmental damage & ageing of the skin

The primary cause of ageing of the skin is sub-clinical inflammation, also known as inflammageing. Research has directly linked this to environmental factors like exposure to UV, pollution, toxins in skin products and due to poor lifestyle habits. Hypochlorous acid, the main active ingredient in our products, has been scientifically proven to reverse inflammation and ‘switch off’ the genes responsible for inflammation, ageing and disease*.

GF2 Skin Rejuvenation stimulates the reversal of environmental damage of the skin, giving you true rejuvenation. With regular and continued use, you will notice the following results:

Directions for use:

• Wash your face twice daily with a liquid skin cleanser (look for one free of SLS and parabens) and gently pat your face dry with a towel.
• Hold your GF2 Skin Rejuvenation bottle approximately 15cm away from your face and spray GF2 onto the face, neck and around the eyes until the skin is moist (about 8-10 pumps). Allow your skin to dry naturally (do not wipe off). The bottle is glass please take care not to drop it!
• GF2 must be applied immediately after cleansing and drying the skin. As a minimum, apply in the morning and again at night before bed.
• After applying GF2, allow the skin to dry thoroughly before applying any other skincare products.
• We do not recommend accelerating this natural drying process with a fan or hair-dryer as GF2’s key component, the hypochlorous acid (HOCl) molecule, is active when the skin is damp. Allowing GF2 to evaporate naturally means optimal contact time with the skin, and the active ingredient (HOCl) has time to be completely absorbed by the skin.

To keep in mind when starting with GF2:

• GF2 is designed to reverse damage to the skin caused by environmental issues.
• When you initially start using GF2, you may potentially experience a slight feeling of tightness in the skin after you’ve used it.
  • This is completely normal and will reduce over time.
    Why does this happen? GF2 restores skin health by, amongst other things, reducing excess oil secretion (which happens in skin to compensate when there isn’t enough hydration). Oil secretion reduces quickly with GF2 use, but the recovery of the epidermal-dermal junction, where hyaluronic acid is recovered with the help of GF2, takes a little longer.
    In other words, when using GF2 for the first time, oil secretion goes down before hydration catches up. During this time, we recommend using a hydrating serum (containing hyaluronic acid, vitamin C or aloe vera as preferred) on any areas of dryness (under the eye etc) after applying GF2 (once the GF2 has dried). Hydration recovery takes anything between 2 months and 4 months, after which the need for the serum will reduce.
• You may find you have the odd break-out or flare-up on the skin after using GF2 for a couple of weeks.
  • This is completely natural and to be expected as your skin starts to renew itself and older skin layers are replaced.
  • This will settle down in a day or two in each case (just keep using GF2).
• If using GF2 as protection against viruses, you can spray it onto your face even with your eyes and mouth open.
  • This should be repeated if you have been out in public. The hands can also be sprayed to disinfect them as required. GF2 will not harm your eyes and is safe if swallowed.

Precautionary Note:

• GF2 Skin Rejuvenation is complementary to your existing skincare routine. However, it should not be mixed with or into any other product – this is to avoid any reactions or irritations on the skin as HOCl is a very fragile molecule and doesn’t like other chemicals.
• Always apply GF2 to a clean, dry skin.
• Allow it to dry naturally and completely (without wiping it off) before applying toner, moisturisers, cosmetics, makeup or serums.
• If you use a toner, we recommend making sure it is alcohol-free, and use it once the GF2 is dry.
