What is the Vampire Facial?
The treatment involves a process to get your PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and entails drawing some of your blood, the platelets from your blood are then separated from other blood cells and their concentration is increased during a process called centrifugation.
The PRP is then further separated into 3 parts:
- The PPP (Platelet Poor Plasma)-which is very effectively used for skin needling as an anti-ageing treatment,
- The PRP– which is richer in platelets and growth factors, and
- Super Concentrated PRP known as “the Liquid Gold”, is usually injected into the areas of greatest concern and yield the best results through micro-needling for the ultimate boost!
Peptides are added to “supercharge” the effects, as well as, increase the efficacy of the treatment
What to expect immediately after the treatment
- 24-48hrs of red, slightly “sunburnt” sensation, with minimal touch sensitivity
- Post-treatment creams are supplied along with instructions for post care, and continuous support throughout
What to expect 14 days post-treatment (the peak point of the results):
- Increased collagen plumping
